Octocon’s chosen charity partner this year is Outhouse LGBTQ+ Centre in Dublin.
They host a library of almost 4000 LGBTQ+ books and we would like to contribute some science fiction, fantasy and horror books to the collection!
If you have a printed book or two you’d like to donate, we’d like you to let us know in advance. While we are very grateful for all offers of books, we may decline some as we need to check for appropriate themes or because we’ve been offered multiple copies!
As a minimum, the book should have multiple positive LGBTQ+ characters as well as relevant themes.
If you can’t attend Octocon in-person or would rather send us money so we can pick the books, please donate to our Ko-fi with a message of ‘Outhouse Library’. Include your name if you wish to be listed in the thank yous.
Donations without the message will be assumed to be donations to Octocon itself.
