The use of generative AI has become an important issue to the fan community. To the best of our knowledge, Octocon has not used any generative AI in putting together the convention, including in (but not limited to):

• Artwork
• Writing text for webpages, panel descriptions, email communications, or social media
• Managing programme participants
• Defining processes and policies
• Managing our Discord server

Octocon Trade Hall

Octocon strongly prefers that our traders do not sell any AI-generated artwork or writing in our trade hall. Please mark any work that is AI-generated as being so. If you are a trader who is exclusively presenting AI work, we will take this into consideration in the allocation of tables and may refuse to give you space.
