We’ve got an amazing set of guests joining us across the weekend at Octocon, and you’ll have the opportunity to join an informal chat with almost all of them, whether around a table at the Maldron Hotel on Saturday or in a Zoom meeting across the weekend.
Our Saturday in-person guests will also be taking part in online programming on Sunday.

- PJ Holden, a Belfast-based comic artist best known for his work for Judge Dredd for 2000AD.
- Shauna Lawless, author of the Gael Song series, a historical fantasy series chronicling some of the most turbulent wars of mediaeval Ireland.
- Fenek and Przysto, cosplayers extraordinaire who’ll be helping host our cosplay parade.
Online only:
- S.L. Dove Cooper, queer author and editor who spends her time exploring asexuality and aromanticism in literature, author of Snow as Soft as Feathers and Other Stories.
- Francesca T Barbini, award-winning editor and translator, and the founder and director of Luna Press Publishing.
- T.L. Huchu, the multi-award winning author of the Edinburgh Nights series, the final instalment of which – Secrets of the First School – is due in October 2025. Saturday only.
- Marve Michael Anson, filmmaker and author whose debut fantasy novel, Firstborn of the Sun is being published in October 2025. Saturday only.
- Khan Wong, an author based in California, whose most recent novel is Down in the Sea of Angels.
- Jo Zebedee, an author and bookseller from Northern Ireland who’s a popular Octocon regular. Sunday only.
